Powering QuarkStar’s Deep Tech efforts was early team member Roland Haitz’s dicta that to fully maximize the efficiency and capabilities of a lighting system, one needs to control the photon from the moment it emerges from the source until its final destination in an illuminated space.
To that end, QuarkStar has created a complete and complementary suite of technologies at every scale – from the package to the module to the fixture along with C4I controls at the fixture and system level to take full advantage of the unique capabilities that QuarkStar optical technologies provide.
The result is QuarkStar's Integrated System of Lighting (ISL), a set of unprecedented new capabilities in ever smaller and more modular formats that solve the fundamental technical, functional, and economic problems of solid-state lighting.
