Hiatus

There are things in my mind right now, that I could post about but I am choosing not to. In fact, I think I really need a break from the obligation of posting. I'm not stopping and I might still post, but if I don't for awhile, this is why.

There are other things that need my attention right now. Please feel free to read one of the other wonderful blogs linked above.

I shall return.

Reading is Fun-da-mental!

I just started reading the book "Way of the Peaceful Warrior" and I have a lot of hope for it. So far it's been really good so I think I'm going to like it.

It's odd how I forget at times how much I do enjoy reading a good book. Books are good stuff, for the most part. I have read a few horribly boring books in my time, but I firmly believe there is a book out there for everyone.

I will keep you updated on the book if I deem necessary.

Later kidz!

Woo!

So I'm gonna guess 99% of you won't care, but, Josh Patton re-signed with the Saltdogs! Go Josh!

Go Saltdogs! Go Baseball!

It's all good

Welcome to Wednesday everyone!

The guy at work did end up coming in at 11. The tire on his truck blew out as he was driving back into town to go to work and he didn't have a cell phone with him. So far as I've known him, he's been a dependable guy so it was just bad luck for him last night. He felt bad about me having to come in but it's really not that big of a deal. I knew this could happen when I took the job.

Hopefully I can just get the hour back this afternoon and get off at 3. If I do get to do that I think I'll take my car in and get the oil changed and maybe look into getting cable. I've been debating this for awhile now. I used to have cable before, when I had my old job and I thought about not getting it again because I could save the money. But sometimes it would be nice to have some of the cable channels I like. I don't know, I still have to think about this more.

Ok, gotta get ready for work and leave. Cyaz!

Live from Love Library....

it's the GopherDylan Show!!

*applause*

I really have nothing of note to post except that I am at work filling in for a missing student. If he doesn't show up, I get to be here until midnight. It's part of the job, so I won't complain... well, any more than I have.

I got some books at the library and hung out a bit with C-bob earlier. I also had lunch with Joe and Nate today and that was fun, as always.

Nothing to do but sit and wait. Later guys!

Blogs

Lately I have been thinking about how public this blog can really be. I have no control over who might wander in and read it. What if I post something that later I would regret? I want this to be a free forum for myself, but sometimes I wonder if I'm not too forthcoming with information.

I really don't know what I want to do.

Time will tell I suppose.

Baseball

I haven't posted about baseball in awhile, so now is the time.

So it seems that A-Rod may very well be traded to the Yankees. This would make, in my opinion, one of the greatest infields ever. Giambi on first, Jeter at SS and A-Rod at third. They will be trading away their 2nd baseman so not sure who would fill in best at that spot for them.

I feel bad though for Boone, who is still my favorite major league player. He got injured playing in a pickup basketball game, which is strictly prohibited in his contract. The Yankees can now opt out on his contract and only owe him the sum of $942,000. Then he wouldn't have a contract with any team. It could very well be the end of his career and that would make me sad. That is unless after he heals up he joins the Northern League, because that would be cool!

Baseball is the greatest sport ever!

Bloggin

I dunno about yesterday's blog. Part of me really wants to delete it. I guess I'll just let it stay though. That's the point of this, to record my thoughts and feelings at times. Things are better now though and I'm not worried.

Hung out with C-bob and Frankster last night and that was cool. We watched some movies, Kung Pow and Wayne's World and just talked a lot and goofed around. It was a lot of fun.

Well it's Sunday and that means laundry day so I'm gonna get going. Later!
