Now that was a baseball game!! Red Sox were ahead going into the 8th, Yankees tie it up. Goes into the 11th inning when one Yankee homerun (go Aaron Boone!!) give the Yankees a trip to the World Series. All baseball games should be that awesome. I love tied games that go down to the wire like that. It's so much more exciting than the blow away games.
Approx. 44 hrs until the World Series!!
I realized earlier how much my personal interests have shifted in the last couple months. I hardly ever play video games anymore and I don't worry about upgrading my computer and things like that. I like to be outside, going to the park, watching baseball, playing catch and chatting with my friends. I like hanging out with my friends too, so I want to do that even more. I used to be way into collecting video game systems, but I think that interest has tapered off again. I'm even debating selling of the collection, as I really don't ever use the systems and I don't have room for them.
It's really wicked cold right now, 36 degrees out. I need to get my flannel sheets out and what not, in preparation for winter. It's coming soon, I can tell.
Something odd happened today though. I was getting ready to go for a walk and was walking by the driveway of the house next door and I saw something black. It turned out to be a batting glove, and I thought it might be one of the pair that C-bob lost. Thing is, I found out later from C-bob, that it wasn't her glove. The oddest part of all, is that this glove is in my size. So I guess I have a left handed batting glove now, really odd. I hadn't planned on buying batting gloves for quite awhile, so this was a nice, if not odd, find. It looks basically brand new but it was on the ground for a little while. Someone else must have lost it, but I have no idea how to figure out who that was. Strange things in deed.
