Twitter = Blog Killer

I like Twitter, some can argue that I probably like it too much, but I find it really easy to use and don't mind updating it. Granted it still has "new toy" status and with the new text messaging service on my phone I find that I am updating it a lot more frequently. Certainly a lot more frequently than I update here.

The nice thing about Twitter versus here is that Twitter limits the amount of characters I can use and makes me be concise about things. Do I think people really care that I'm stopping at Target to look at DVDs? No. But I can't help doing those little updates. I like to see the time I spend on different tasks and how long it is before I start something new or go somewhere else.

So why is it harder to update the blog? Because I have to actually think about the content that I'm going to add, then I have to type it up and sometimes proof read. There has to be a beginning, middle and end and there has to be some sense of grammar, tone and spelling. So it takes a bigger time commitment on my part to update.

So with that I am "off to watch TV" or "try to find my missing socks."
